All completed and signed applications received by the application deadline will be reviewed for basic qualifications. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in one or more interviews. Some positions require a skills test and/or a bilingual/bi-literate certification test. Successful candidates will receive a conditional offer pending the acceptable results of:
- Driving (DMV) records check
- Reference checks
- Pre-employment medical exam, including rapid drug screen
- Criminal background check
No applicant will be denied employment solely on the grounds of conviction of a criminal offense. The nature of the offense, the date of the offense, the surrounding circumstances and the relevance of the offense to the position(s) applied for may, however, be considered.

Vacation
- 0-2 Years of Service 3.69 hours per pay period
- 3 – 9 Years of Service 4.61 hours per pay period
- 10-20 Years of Service 6.15 hours per pay period
- After 20 Years of Service 7.69 hours per pay period
Vacation days for eligible employees accrue from the first day of employment and are available for use after six months.
Sick Leave
HACM offers 3.08 hours of sick leave per pay period to eligible employees. Employees begin accruing sick leave from their first day of employment.
Retirement plan
HACM offers two Retirement Programs to eligible employees. Participation in these plans is voluntary. Eligible employees may begin contributing the first of the month following six months of employment.
- Money Purchase Pension Plan
Eligible employees may begin contributing to the plan following six months of service. After one year of service, eligible enrolled employees who contribute a minimum of 1.1% (13% maximum) of their pay into the Mass Mutual Plan will receive a generous employer contribution. - 457(b) Retirement Plan
HACM offers a Deferred Compensation 457(b) plan which eligible employees may contribute to on a pre-tax basis. There is no employer contribution to this plan.
Health Care Benefits
HACM pays 100% of the premium for medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as life insurance for eligible employees. HACM also pays a portion of dependent premiums. HACM offers a Medical Reimbursement Account and a Dependent Care Assistance Plan to eligible employees. Other optional employee-paid benefits are also available.
